The share of 80% of the authorized capital of KB Strelka LLC belongs to the Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design. KB Strelka at the expense of profit finances the activities of the Strelka Institute [2] .

Activities

The company is engaged in the development of strategic documents for urban development, the organization of communication processes, including the involvement of residents in the design process, and the implementation of urban solutions in the field of infrastructure and landscaping.

Among the strategic documents are standards for the integrated development of territories, a program for the development of single-industry towns, master plans for the development of territories, a consolidated standard for the improvement of Moscow streets, which has been used in the implementation of the My Street program since 2015 [3] [4] .

With the participation of the company, an urban environmental quality index was developed for 1112 cities [5] , which was adopted by the Russian Ministry of Construction to assess the activities of regional and local authorities. In accordance with the May decree of the President of Russia, it is assumed that by 2024 most cities will significantly improve their environment, and the index will become a tool for monitoring these changes [6] .

According to the design projects of the company, improvement of about 200 territories was carried out in the program of the Moscow government “My Street” [7] [8] . In the program for creating a comfortable urban environment, the company took part in the development of design projects for public spaces for 40 cities of Russia [9] .

Another area of ​​activity of the company is urban research. In 2018, Strelka Design Bureau and Cisco entered into an agreement on the joint development of solutions in the Smart City direction [22] .
