Geography

The village is located in the central part of the Oryol region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the central part of the Central Russian Upland , at a distance of about 16 kilometers (in a straight line) to the west-south-west (WSW) from the urban-type settlement Zalegoщš , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 241 meters above sea level ^[2] .
