Helen Czerski ( Helen Czerski ; born November 1, 1978, Manchester, England) is a British physicist and oceanographer, popularizer of science. Ph.D., an employee of University College London, collaborates with the BBC .

Biography

She graduated with honors from Cambridge Churchill College . A year later, she returned to Cambridge, where in 2001 she received bachelor's and master's degrees in physics, to work on her doctorate in experimental explosive physics. In those same years he worked at the University of Toronto and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Having received her doctorate in 2006, she was a postdoc at Rhode Island University. There and at the she spent about four years. Then in 2010, she returned to the UK, where she opened her own research program at the University of Southampton, where she became an research , then moved to University College London, where she also entered research fellow and is now a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is engaged in the popularization of science, working in popular science programs, in particular on the BBC. He is fond of sports, is engaged in badminton, running and swimming [4] . Cersky likes to read books, creativity, hot chocolate and explore interesting things in life [5] .
