Old Kiremet

Old Kiremet is a village in the Aksubaevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation [3] , the administrative center and the only settlement of the Starokiremetsky rural settlement .

Content

Geography

The village is located on the Kiremet river, 8 km north of the urban-type settlement Aksubaevo .

History

In the XVIII century it was part of the Nogai Daruga of Kazan County, from 1780 - Chistopol Governor, then the county of Kazan Province (until 1920).

In 1890, a literacy school was opened.

Before the merger in the 1960s, 2 settlements: with. Old Tatarskaya Kiremet (Tatars lived) and the village of Verkhnyaya Chuvash Kiremet with the Chuvash population (historical names: Summit Chuvash Kiremet, Vershino-Chuvash Kiremet).
