Biography
Russian. Higher education, in 1948 he graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks (in absentia). He began his career in 1929 as a mechanic at the engine depot of Art. Pokrovsk. In 1933-1935 he served in the Red Army, then until 1941 he worked as a locksmith, head of the passport office of the department for the reception and dismissal of the locomotive depot st. Pokrovska, was elected secretary of the nodal committee of the Komsomol and secretary of the nodal committee of the CPSU (b) Art. Pokrovsk Ryazan-Ural Railway.
In 1941-1944, he held the posts of secretary for industry and transport, 2nd secretary of the Engels city committee of the CPSU (b), since 1944, at the party work in the BSSR - instructor of the personnel department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party (b), deputy head, head of the administrative department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Belarus. In 1952, according to a personal decision of the CPSU Central Committee, he was sent to work in state security bodies and was appointed deputy minister of state security of the BSSR. From April 6, 1954 to August 31, 1959 - Chairman of the KGB at the Council of Ministers of the BSSR. In 1959-1967 - Deputy Chairman of the KGB at the Council of Ministers of the USSR.
