Igor Arkadyevich Zhukov (born July 11, 1964 , Kovrov , Vladimir Region ) is a Russian poet , prose writer , playwright and screenwriter . Known for works for children and "adult" short verlibers (as defined by D. Kuzmin, "editing texts of the Dadaist sense") [1] [2] .

Biography
Born in Kovrov. He graduated from the philological faculty of Ivanovo State University . In the 1990s, he was one of the leaders of the local circle of "new poets", participated in numerous actions and performances [3] . In 2006 he moved to Moscow.
Member of the Union of Writers of Russia . He has published more than 30 books of poems and fairy tales for children and several books of “adult” poetry (Pantagruel’s Language (2007) [4] , Gottfried of Bouillon (2008) [5] , The Attempt Ship (2010), etc. .). The works were translated into many European languages.
Author of plays, scripts and lyrics for radio performances of Radio Russia, plays for the puppet theater , scripts and poems for animated films. Edited the children's magazine "Giraffe".
