The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Belgorod region, 17.6 km in a straight line to the east-north-east of the district center, the village of Veidelevka

History

Name Origin

In the "Voronezh Provincial Gazette" it was reported that in 1804, with the funds raised by the residents of the farms Kubrakov and Yatsenkov, a stone church was built in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker . And the new settlement became known as Nikolaevka [2] .

Historical Review

In 1859, in the Valuysky district, "the settlement was public, at the well, Nikolaevka" "between the tracts: the Voronezh postal and country roads to the Rovenka settlement", an Orthodox church, a parish school, 2 fairs, a bazaar.

In 1900, the settlement Nikolaevka in the Valuysky district, the center of Nikolaevsky volost, which also included the settlements Popasnaya (Pasopny farm) and Nogina (Nozhin, Ivanovka), the village of Ivanovka, the farm Yatsenkov, Kapysevka (White Pleso), Pivnyachy, Razypnaya, Kubrakova ( Kubrakov), Ban'kin (Raevka), Rivny (Rivne), Stanovoy (Stanovoy), Zhabsky (Tikhonovka), Sidorov, Sredny settlements, Makarenkov, Bezugov, Ratny and Mazhugin, Golikova E.P., Chumakova A.N. and Mysakova P.M. In the settlement itself, Nikolaevka had a church, 3 public buildings, a zemstvo school and a school of literacy, 3 forges, 4 oil mills, 17 windmills, 2 wine and 8 small shops, 6 inns, 5 fairs and a bazaar; at Sloboda - 2129.1 tithes of the earth.

Since July 1928, the Nikolaevka settlement in the Veydelevsky district has been the center of the Nikolaev Village Council , which included, in addition to the settlement itself, 8 farms: Kovalev, Krasnaya Zarya, Nogin, Polevoy, Popasny, Priluzhny, Yasinov and Yatsenkov.

In the early 1930s, Nikolaevka organized three collective farms: them. K. Marx, im. F. Dzerzhinsky and "Hammer and Sickle"; created a machine and tractor station in the settlement, but later transferred it to the village of Kubraki. In 1932, the state farm “17 Party Congress” was created in Nikolaevka, repair shops, an office, and apartments for farm managers were built. In 1935, the state farm was disbanded.

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was captured.

In 1952, the collective farms decided to enlarge and on the territory of the Nikolaev village council created a single collective farm to them. K. Marx. In 1958, the village council included the villages of Nikolaevka and Rovna, the Volny farm, Kovalev, Nogin, Popasny, Priluzhny, Sibirtsev, Sosnov, Sredny, Stanovoye, Fourth, Yasenov and Yatsenkov; By 1972, both villages and farms Kovalev, Nogin, Popasny, Stanovoye and Yasenov remained in the Nikolaev village council.

In 1997, the village of Nikolaevka in the Veydelevsky district was the center of the Nikolaev rural district : the villages of Nikolaevka and Rovna, the farms Kovalev, Nogin, Popasny, Stanovoye and Yasenov.

In 2010, the village of Nikolaevka - the center of the Nikolaev rural settlement of the Veidelevsky district [2] .

Interesting Facts

Nikolaevka is the birthplace of the ancestors (grandfather, grandmother, mother) of the great Russian singer Irina Konstantinovna Arkhipova . She came here in the 1940s, a student of the Moscow Architectural Institute , more than once came on vacation. In the early 1990s, the singer’s concerts were held with great success in Belgorod, in July 1994 she visited her native places - Valuyki , Veidelevka and Nikolaevka.

I.K. Arkhipova admitted:

“Yes, the birthplace of my talent is Nikolaevka. My grandfather was famous all over the district for his voice, my mother sang well too ... ” [2]

Population

In 1859, 193 yards and 1287 residents (613 men, 674 women) were enumerated in the settlement.

In 1900 - 188 households, 1201 residents (592 men, 609 women).

On January 1, 1932 in the settlement of Nikolaevka - 1330 inhabitants.

According to censuses in the village of Nikolaevka, on January 17, 1979, there were 1219 residents, on January 12, 1989 - 1185 (534 men, 651 women), on January 1, 1994 - 1237 residents, 525 households. In 1997 - 468 households, 1298 residents; in 1999 - 1294 residents; in 2001 - 1269 [2] .

Infrastructure

As of 1992, Nikolaevka remained the center of the collective farm. K. Marx (723 collective farmers), engaged in crop production and animal husbandry, in the same year, the collective farm was transformed into AOZT Nikolaevskoe (for the production of grain). As of 1995, in the village of Nikolaevka - the cooperative "Builder" at AOZT "Nikolaevskoe", a district hospital, a post office, the House of Culture, a secondary school, a kindergarten [2] .
