Anatoly Fedorovich Tikhomirov (born May 7, 1956 in Birobidzhan, Jewish Autonomous Region ) is a Russian doctor, statesman and politician. Member of the State Duma of the VII convocation . Member of the faction "United Russia" , member of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy and Problems of the North and the Far East [1] .

Biography
In 1978, he received higher medical education in the specialty "Pediatrician", graduating from Khabarovsk State Medical Institute. From 1978 to 1981 he studied in the specialty “Phthisiopediatrician” at the residency of the Scientific Research Institute of Phthisiology of the Ministry of Health. In 1999, he underwent retraining as an economist at the Birobidzhan branch of the Modern Humanitarian Institute. In 1981, after completing residency, he returned to Birobidzhan, worked in a TB dispensary as a TB doctor. From 1982 to 1988, he worked in the Central District Hospital of the Oktyabrsky District of the EAO as a pediatrician, and later worked in the Amurzet Central District Hospital as the chief doctor [2] .
From 1989 to 1993 he worked in the Executive Committee of the Birobidzhan City Council of People's Deputies as head of the health department, and later was appointed to the executive committee of the regional Council of the Jewish Autonomous Region as deputy head of the region’s health department [3] .
From 1993 to 2001 he worked in the regional compulsory health insurance fund as an executive director of the fund [2] .
In 2001, he ran for deputies in the single-mandate constituency No. 15, was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Jewish Autonomous Region of the III convocation [4] . In November 2001, he was elected chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region [5] . In October 2006, he was again elected to the Legislative Assembly of Region IV in the constituency No. 7 [6] . In December 2011, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the EAO of the fifth convocation in the single-member constituency No. 6 [7] . From 2001 to 2016, he was the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Jewish Autonomous Region of the III, IV and V convocations [8] .
In September 2016, he ran for the United Russia party in the single-mandate constituency No. 220, and, based on the results of the vote count, was elected to the State Duma of the VII convocation [9] .

From 2016 to 2019, during the term of office of a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation, he co-authored 74 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [10] .
