Content
General information
The name Cuauhtémoc is given in memory of the last ruler of Tenochtitlan - Kuautemok , and his name can be translated from the astexa language as a diving eagle [3] .
The area of the municipality is 3608 km², which is 1.46% of the total state area [4] , and the highest point - 2285 meters, is located in the settlement of El Lobo [1] .
It borders with other municipalities of the state of Chihuahua: in the north with Namikipa , in the east with Riva Palacio , in the south with Gran Morelos and Kusiuiryachi , in the west with Guerrero and Bachiniva .
