The Alumni Association of St. Petersburg State University is an autonomous non-profit organization created in 2014 [1] to develop the interaction of university graduates and promote the brand of St. Petersburg State University [2] . Events
Since 2016 [4] the association annually holds “Reunion”, a general meeting of graduates of different years [5] [6] . In addition, under the auspices of the organization, lectures by famous university graduates, scientific and recreational events are held. Students of St. Petersburg State University on a competitive basis are awarded scholarships of the association [7] . The Association is the organizer of the St. Petersburg State University sailing regatta, which in 2019 became the largest student yachting competition in the world [8] .
In 2018, the association organized the international festival of student theaters TurgenevFest, dedicated to the anniversary of the writer [9] .

In 2018, more than 6,000 participants were registered with the association [10] .
