Geography
the village was located in the southwestern part of the Astrakhan region, on the left bank of Bakhtemir (Main Sleeve), at a distance of about one kilometer (in a straight line) east of the village of Ikryanoye , the administrative center of the district.
The absolute height is 25 meters below sea level [4] .

moderate, sharply continental. It is characterized by high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter, low precipitation, as well as large annual and summer daily temperature amplitudes.

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2010 the population of the village was 0 [2] . According to the results of the 2002 census , Russians in the national structure of the population accounted for 91%, the number of inhabitants was 11 [6] .
