The village is located by the Khurdun River , between Lake Ilmen and the Erik Zubovsky, in the southern part of Ikryaninsky District

According to the All-Russian Census , in 2010 the population of the village was 214 people (107 men and 107 women) [ [1] . According to the results of the 2002 census , the population of the village was 202 people, and Russians accounted for 92% of the national population structure [4] .
