Biography
Since 1978 he lived in Khojaly under the care of his grandfather. He graduated from the local eight-year school. He worked at the Khojaly Viticulture State Farm No. 2, and since 1990 - at a weaving factory. After demobilization from military service, which F. Rustamov went to Ryazan in the Moscow Region, he continued to work in Khojaly. [2]
Karabakh war
After the creation of the Khojaly self-defense detachment, he joined it, and then continued to serve in the military battalion. F. Rustamov brought from the battlefield the wounded National Hero of Azerbaijan A. Guliyev. During the Khojaly events, he returned to Khojaly three times, leading women, children and wounded from the surrounded city to a safe zone. At the last moment, he himself died from an enemy bullet.

A monument was erected in the city of Goranboy Fizuli Salah oglu Rustamov.
