Biography

Born in the village of Shelopugino. He graduated from the Chita Forestry Technical College (1961) and the Irkutsk Institute of National Economy (1972).

From 1953 to 1984 he worked at the Chita Machine-Building Plant: apprentice locksmith, locksmith, assistant foreman, foreman, shop manager, chief economist, director since 1978.

Since 1984, under his leadership, for the first time in the USSR, the production of MXMV-250 marine refrigeration machines was launched, which were installed on the Akula nuclear submarine to maintain a constant temperature.

In 1984-1985 Secretary of the Chita City Committee of the CPSU. From 1985 to 1990, the chairman of the Chita City Executive Committee.

In 1990-1992 Manager of the Chita Oblast Executive Committee. In 1992-1999, the manager of affairs of the administration of the Chita region.

He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1984), "Badge of Honor" (1966), and medals.
