71-415 was announced back in 2017 [1] . The car should have been officially presented at the INNOPROM-2017 exhibition in Yekaterinburg , but the manufacturer postponed the presentation. It was presented at the INNOPROM-2018 exhibition [2] together with the wagon 71-412 . At the end of November 2018, he was sent to the Western Tram Depot of Yekaterinburg for testing [3] .
71-415 is the first four-axle Uraltransmash wagon on slewing trolleys and low-level floors throughout the cabin. A new chassis trolley with a two-stage spring suspension has been developed for the car. Also, according to representatives of the UVZ corporation, more than 70% of it consists of materials and components of domestic production. At the INNOPROM-2018 exhibition, the car was presented with a foot controller, but at the customer's request it can also be delivered with a manual one.
In December 2018, the car received a certificate of conformity (issued by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation ) and was accepted into serial production.
In 2018, the company began to develop design documentation for the wagon 71-418, which will be based on constructive developments for 71-415.
