Birth

After Izanagi gave birth to the gods, he gave Amateras the sky, and her brother Susanoo the sea. However, Susanoo did not want to take over the reign and wanted to retire to his mother’s country, Ne no katasu kuni . For this angry Izanagi expelled him. Before the expulsion, Susanoo decided to visit his sister, who considered that her brother wanted to take away her possessions. In order to confirm his peaceful intentions, Susanooo was married to her, and from each other's things brother and sister gave birth to a number of gods. Seeing the beauty of his daughters, Susanooo decided that he had proved his innocence and thereby defeated Amaterasu. However, Susanoo’s behavior only became worse, and as a result he first defecated in the chambers of the goddess, followed by destroying all the sacred rice fields. The gods asked him to stop him, but Amaterasu justified his brother’s behavior, arguing that his behavior, even if it was dishonest, would not cause serious problems. [3] However, Susanoo continued to harm his sister. He attacked the holy spinning mill Amaterasu. On the roof, he made a hole, skinned the sky horse and threw it into his sister’s weaving room. With a frightened sky weavers stumbled upon the looms and pricked themselves with shuttle traders in secret places and died. Amaterasu, too, was frightened, angry and hid in a cave, and the whole world plunged into darkness. [4] [5]
