Zhuang Yi

Zhuang Yi began his professional football career in 1994 when the Jia-A League became professional. In the 1994 season, he was the league’s second top scorer, scoring 12 goals in 18 matches, and was also recognized as the Best Young Player of 1994 by the China Football Association . ^[1] From 1996 to 1997 he played in the second division, where he went with the Liaoning Club . Zhuang began a lawsuit against the Sports School, won the trial court in July 2000, ^[13] however in November 2000 he lost the trial court. ^[8] In July 2000, together with the Shenyang Construction and Engineering College, he opened the College of Urban Construction School. In 2013, the School separated from the college and Shenyang City Building University was established on its basis. ^[10] In 2015, Zhuang created and registered the new Shenyang Urban football club, which was named after its core university, and also began performing at its stadium. ^[14]

After Shenyang Urban finished fourth in the 2015 Amateur League of China and was able to play in the second league , Zhuang showed up at the club as a player and took number 9. ^[15] However, in the seasons of 2016 and 2017 did not go out on the field. On May 12, 2018, he made his debut in a home match against Baotou Nanjiao , and his team won with a score of 7–1. Zhuang himself took the substitution in the 67th minute of the match and thus became the oldest player in Chinese professional football, entering the field at the age of 44 years and 305 days, breaking the record of Anatoly Davydov , who entered the field at the age of 42 years and 348 days . ^[16] Zhuang updated the record on June 3, 2018, substituting in the 78th minute, and the team won 4–0 with the Yanbian Beigo Club. The player scored a penalty, becoming the oldest player to score in the professional leagues of China at the age of 44 years and 327 days. ^[17]

Zhuang twice participated in the matches of the Chinese national team in 1995. ^[18] On February 19, 1995, he made his debut for the national team in a match against the South Korean national team in the 1995 Dynasty Cup match, which ended in a draw 0–0. The second match was also played at the Dynasty Cup on February 23, and the national team lost to the Japanese team with a score of 2–1. ^[nineteen]
