Magomed Salamovich Selimkhanov (born January 31, 1976 in the village of Engel-Yurt, Gudermes District, Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Russian official, state and political figure. Deputy of the State Duma of the VI and VII convocations. Member of the United Russia faction , Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, Issues of Public and Religious Associations [1] .

Biography
In 2001, he graduated with a degree in Automation of Technical Processes and Production, graduating from the Grozny State Oil Institute named after Academician M.D. Millionschikov . In 1995, he worked as a city cleaning inspector in the production department of the public utilities of Gudermes. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as an economist of the first category of the State Unitary Enterprise Agro-Combine Vozrozhdenie. In 2004, he worked in the production department of the housing and communal services of the Gudermes region as a master of road facilities. From 2004 to 2006, he worked in the Government of the Chechen Republic as a leading specialist in the department of patriotic education, and later as head of the department of external relations [2] .
From May 2006 to February 2007 he worked in the government of the Chechen Republic as an assistant to the chairman Ramzan Kadyrov, later he served as head of the secretariat of the head of the Republic, in 2007-2008 he worked in the presidential administration and the government of the Chechen Republic as the first deputy head [3] .
In 2008 he was appointed to the post of Acting, and from November 2008 to December 2011 - Deputy Chairman of the Government - Head of the Presidential Administration and the Government of the Chechen Republic [4] .
In December 2011, he ran for the State Duma from the party "United Russia", according to the results of the distribution of mandates, he was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the VI convocation [5] .
In September 2016, he re-ran for the State Duma from "United Russia", following the election results he was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation [6] .

From 2016 to 2019, during the exercise of the powers of a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation, he co-authored 44 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [7] .
