Description
Water tower No. 3 is located near the tracks of the West Siberian Railway northwest of the Novosibirsk- Glavny railway station.
The round three-story tower is made of red brick and is based on a rusticated basement made of granite stones [1] .
Tiers are separated by brick traction [1] .
The first level is faced with horizontal brick rust, it is separated from the second level by a cornice belt, the second and third levels are separated by a more complicated cornice profile [1] .
The crowning cornice of the tower is made wide and multi-stage [1] .
The dome of the tower is octagonal with a metal roof [1] .
In each of the tiers at a distance equally spaced from each other are four windows [1] .
The entrance aperture and windows have arched endings, they are framed by wide archival vaults made of wedge-shaped brick completed with a large castle stone [1] .
The tower stands on a rubble strip foundation [1] .
The diameter is 7.3 m [1] .
Water tower No. 3 is an example of the architecture of a special engineering structure built at the beginning of the 20th century in the complex of the Trans-Siberian Railway station [1] .
