Biography
Family and hobbies
Parents - Paul and Donna Benn, have brothers Michael, Jason and Evan [1] . Hobbies - walking dogs, hiking, snowboarding. Always on any trip she takes with her a rag doll Annie [1] .
Rugby Education and Path
Britt was still fond of ice hockey at school, dreaming of becoming a national team player since 2002, when Canada won Olympic gold medals [1] . However, after a couple of years she started rugby, where she had more chances to break into the main team of any team. She graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in sociology, during her training she played for the university team and became the five-time champion of Ontario, three times the bronze medalist of the student championship of Canada, twice silver medalist and once champion of Canada. Laureate of a number of rugby awards: member of the Ontario national team of stars, the most valuable player in the Ontario championship, the best student rugby player of Canada, a member of the symbolic team of Canada, nominee for the title “Athlete-Student of the Year in Canada” and laureate of the “Best Debutant in Ontario Sports” award [1 ] .
Team Canada
In the rugby-15 national team, Britt made her debut in November 2013 during a big tour, playing against France and England [2] . In 2014, at the Shiningen Lake School and Westhills arenas in Langford (British Columbia), she participated in victorious meetings against the United States as part of the Canadian national team. In August 2014, she reached the finals of the World Cup in France with the Canadian national team and won silver medals [3] [4] [1] .
In March 2015 she made her debut for the rugby 7 team at the World Series in Atlanta. In May of the same year, she won the stage with the national team in Amsterdam, having obtained a ticket to the Olympics in Rio. As part of the Canadian team, she won the Pan American Games in Toronto the same year, taking three attempts at the tournament [1] [5] . In May 2016, following the results of the World Series stage in France, Clermont-Ferrand fell into the national team of stars, in the ranking of national team scorers she took 4th place with 9 attempts [1] . Bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the national team of Canada [6] (one attempt in the match against Japan).
