Player Career

As a footballer, Hipp acted as a defender. He spent most of his career at the Nitra Club. In the 1993/94 season he played for the Prague “ Slavia ”, with which he became vice-champion of the Czech Republic . In the nineties, Hipp managed to hold five matches for the national teams of Czechoslovakia and Slovakia .

Coach Career

For many years, the specialist was part of the coaching staffs of the teams with which Vladimir Weiss worked. Together with him, he began his playing career. Together with him, Hipp worked for Artmedia , Saturn and the Slovak team . On his own, the Slovak managed to work a little with “Artmedia” and the Bratislava “ Slovan ”.

In May 2012, after Weiss left the Slovakian national team, the leadership of the local football federation went on an experiment and appointed Michall Hipp, along with Slovan's mentor Stanislav Griga, as the national team's head coaches. [2] However, the coaching tandem did not live up to expectations and in June of the following year after an unsuccessful start as part of the qualifying stage of the 2014 World Cup, they were fired. [3]

Hipp later worked with Nitra, the Czech Vysocina, and the Hungarian Haladash . In January 2019, he entered the Czech coaching staff of Michal Bilek in the national team of Kazakhstan . [four]
