1992 World Series is the decisive series of Major League Baseball games for the 1992 season. For the first time in the history of the World Series, matches took place outside the United States [1] . The American League champion Toronto Blue Jays won the series. For the first time in history, the Canadian team won (after the Montreal Expo moved to Washington in 2005, there were no other Canada representatives in MLB).

The third match of the series was the first played outside the US in the history of the World Series.
In the 4th inning, Joe Carter's home run opened. The Braves won a point in the 6th inning after David Justice 's single. In the 8th team scored one point each, and in the decisive 9th inning single Candy Maldonado brought the “Blue Jays” victory.

In the 1st inning of the fifth match of the series, Otis Nixon opened the scoring after Terry Pendleton 's double. In the 2nd “Blue Jays” the score was leveled, and in the 4th inning the teams exchanged points. In the 5th inning, Nixon made a second run, pushing the Braves ahead, and then Lonnie Smith's four-point home run provided Atlanta with a decisive advantage.

In the sixth match of the Blue Jays series, they won 11 innings and won the World Series. Situ Gaston became the first African-American manager to win the competition. For Toronto , the Blue Jays victory was the first success in sports since 1967 when the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup .
