Repeated participant in the qualifying tournaments for the right to play a match with the champion of Argentina . Silver medalist of the 1st championship of South America (1921/1922).

As part of the Argentine national team, he participated in the official chess Olympiad of 1928 (played on the 1st board) and the unofficial chess Olympiad of 1924 (FIDE World Cup).
