Olga Viktorovna Savastyanova (born , ) is a Russian public and political figure, deputy of the State Duma of the 7th convocation , member of the United Russia faction, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Control and Regulations [ 1] .

Biography
In 1983, she received a higher pedagogical education in the specialty “Teacher of German and English” at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Komi State Pedagogical Institute . In 1988, she graduated from the Higher Komsomol School under the Komsomol Central Committee . In 1996, she studied at the graduate school of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation . From 1983 to 1991, she worked in party and Komsomol positions, worked as secretary of the Komsomol district committee, secretary of the regional committee of the All-Russian Leninist Communist Youth Union (Komsomol). From 1991 to 1992, she worked at the International Center for the Development of Small Enterprises as a deputy director. From 1992 to 1997, she worked at the Institute for Advanced Studies as a deputy director [2] .
From 1997 to 1998, she worked at KomiTEK Oil Company LLC as the head of the PR department. From 1998 to 1999, she worked at Tebukneft Management Company LLC as deputy general director of the company [3] .
From 1999 to 2002, she worked at the Women's Management Center of the United Nations Development Program in the Russian Federation as a deputy director, and from 2002 to 2006, she worked as a director of the Center. From 2002 to 2006 - Chairman of the Komi Public Chamber [4] .
In March 2003, she was elected as a deputy of the State Council of the Komi Republic in the single-mandate constituency No. 4 [5] . In March 2007, she was re-elected as a deputy of the State Council of the Komi Republic in single-mandate constituency No. 2. She was a member of the United Russia faction, was elected Chairman of the State Council Committee on Social Policy [6] .
April 26, 2012 was appointed Commissioner for Human Rights in Komi. In 2014, she was elected to the federal organizing committee of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF). In February 2016, she was elected Chairman of the ONF Regional Executive Committee in Komi [7] .
In September 2016, she ran for the State Duma according to the lists of the United Russia party; according to the results of the distribution of mandates, she was elected as a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the VII convocation [8] .

From 2016 to 2019, during the exercise of the powers of a deputy of the State Duma of the VII convocation, she co-authored 48 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws [9] .
