Sublime Great Lithuanian

Sub-Great Lithuanian - a position in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania . Had to serve the cup drinks for bottling the Grand Duke. Previously I had to try the drink myself.

Over time, the post became nominal, but it remained very honorable, it was usually occupied only by magnates from such noble families as Radziwills , Sapegi , Khodkevichi and others.

In 1635 , the position of poviat subordinate was also introduced.
