Eighth issue of standard stamps (1948-1958)
In 1955, the issue of standard grades of the eighth issue (1948-1958) was continued: stamps were repeated that repeated the drawings of the previous (seventh) standard issue by Vasily Zavyalov , but the colors and values were slightly changed: “Miner in the face” - 15 kopecks, “ Collective farmer with a sheaf ”- 20 kopecks,“ Scientist at the microscope ”- 30 kopecks. Stamps were printed offset [10] [11] . Compared with the stamps of the eighth series, which came into circulation in 1949, the size of the figure [12] [13] [14] was reduced.
