Charles William (Bill) Moomin Jr. ( born Charles William Mumy Jr. , / ˈmuːmi /; born February 1, 1954 [1] ) - American actor . In addition to an impressive list of roles played, Bill is also a talented and famous musician, songwriter and even a writer, as well as a significant person in the science fiction community.

Biography
Moomin was born in San Gabriel , California, from Charles William Moomin, a cattle farmer, and Muriel Gertrude Moomin (nee Gould). [2] He began his professional career at the age of six and participated in more than four hundred television episodes, eighteen films, various commercials, and many off-screen projects [3] . He also worked as a musician, songwriter, recording artist and writer. [3]
Bill gained fame in the 1960s when he appeared in the credits as Billy Moomin, an era that included the appearance of the Alfred Hitchcock Presents and the television shows in the Twilight Zone , as well as the joint lead role in the film with Bridget Bardot “Dear Bridget” [ 4] , followed by Will Robinson's three-season role in the 1960s CBS sci-fi series “ Lost in Space ” ..
Later, he appeared as a lonely teenager Sterling North in the Disney film Rogue (Rascal, 1969). And later, in 1971, Bill played Tefft in the film “ Bless the Beasts and Children ” - the film was also shown in the USSR and became the leader of the 1971 hire.
In the 1990s, he played the role of Lennier in all five seasons of the science fiction series " Babylon 5 ", and for the role of the presenter in the documentary series "Biographies" in the cable television network A & E, he was awarded the Emmy Award.
Moomin is also known for his musical career as a guitarist, singer, songwriter and composer: he was nominated for an Emmy for original music in “Adventures in Wonderland” (1991). Moomin is an experienced musician who plays the banjo, bass, guitar, mouth organ, keyboards, mandolin and percussion. His various musical achievements include songs that he wrote and recorded in America, toured with Sean Cassidy and played with Rick Springfield in the film “Hard to Hold”. He created the band The Be Five with other actors from Babylon 5 .
Moomin produces and leads The Real Good Radio Hour, a weekly series on KSAV Internet Radio, dedicated to various musical styles and artists who became their pioneers. [five]
Moomin and co-author Peter David also published the story "Black '59" (1992) in the collection "Shock Rock" edited by F. Paul Wilson. [6]
Moomin, his wife Eileen, and their two child actors, Seth (born 1989) and Liliana (born 1994), currently live in Laurel Canyon , Los Angeles. [7] [8]
