Born 1/13/1932.
He graduated from the Engineering Physics and Chemistry Department of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology. D. I. Mendeleev (1954) and graduate school of the Institute of Chemical Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (1958, with the defense of the dissertation).
Until 1987, he worked there at the IHF. Doctor of Chemical Sciences (1970), Professor (1977).
In 1964-2002, head of the laboratory of radiation sources; In 1987-2002, Director of the Branch of the Institute for Energy Problems of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences - Deputy Director of the Institute. Since 2002, the main scientific associate of the Laboratory of Radiation Sources of the Branch of the Institute of Energy Problems of Chemical Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences.
