European Football Championship 2010 (U-17)

The final tournament of the European Football Championship 2010 among youth under 17 was held in Liechtenstein from May 18 to May 30, 2010 . Football players born after January 1, 1993 could participate in the tournament. The winner for the first time in their history was the England team, which defeated the French team in the semifinals, and the Spanish team in the final. The bronze medals were won by the national teams of France and Turkey.

Despite the fact that Liechtenstein was the host of the tournament, their team did not participate in the final round, they withdrew from the competition after they expressed concern in the UEFA about the uncompetitiveness of the Liechtenstein U-17 team [1] .
