Geography

The village is located in the eastern part of the Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the southwestern part of the Central Russian Upland , on the banks of the Borovka River, near its confluence with the Gerasim River, at a distance of about 11 kilometers (in a straight line) to the south-west of the urban settlement type Gorshechnoe , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 149 meters above sea ​​level [2] .
