The flag of the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic is one of the official state symbols of the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , along with the coat of arms. It is a rectangular panel in red with a blue stripe on a pole, with a red star in a gold frame, a golden sickle and a hammer, under which is the golden inscription " Komi ASSR. The ratio of the width of the flag to its length is 1: 2.

History
First version
The first flag of the Komi ASSR was described in the first Constitution of the Komi ASSR , which was adopted by the Central Executive Committee of the Komi ASSR on May 26, 1937 at the XI extraordinary congress of the Soviets of the Komi ASSR [1] . The flag is described in article 116 of the Constitution.
Version Two
In 1938, the Komi language writing system was changed. Komi inscriptions on the flag, which previously used the Latin alphabet Molodtsova , were replaced by the Cyrillic alphabet [2] .
Third Version
After changing the flag of the RSFSR in 1954, the flag of the Komi ASSR was also changed accordingly. This was confirmed by amending the Constitution of the Komi ASSR on July 23, 1954 by the Supreme Council of the Komi ASSR [3] . The flag has now been described in article 112 of the Constitution.
March 16, 1956 Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Komi ASSR approved the Regulations on the flag of the Komi ASSR.
On May 23, 1978, the Extraordinary Eighth Session of the 9th Supreme Council of the Komi ASSR approved a new Constitution of the Komi ASSR. The flag of the Komi ASSR was described in article 158. The design of the flag remained unchanged.
The new version of the Komi ASSR flag was approved by a PVS decree of September 15, 1981, and the addition to the Statute was approved on September 18, 1984.
