History
It was founded in 1720. In 1928, it consisted of 241 households, the main population being Russians. According to the List of Church Parishes that existed in the territory of the Altai Territory, compiled on the basis of the “Reference Book on the Tomsk Diocese for 1909-1010,” the church of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the village in 1907 [2] .
The center of the Mormyshansky village council of the Mamontovsky district of the Barnaul district of the Siberian region [3] .
