History

Founded in 1810. In 1809, a peasant from the village of Petukhova, Tikhon Petrovich Bubenshchikov, and his family moved without permission to the territory of the Kasmalinsky basin. He put a hut in the vicinity of Gorky Lake in an area that was called Dog Pits. Soon, he was joined by other residents who also liked the place. Permission to settle in the newly established village of Guseleto at Dog Pits gave the ruler of the Genghis parish in 1810. In 1811, with the permission of the ruler of the Berd parish, peasants from the village of Gilevo moved to Guselevo .

In the “Memorable book of Tomsk province” for 1904 in the Kasmalinsky volost of the Barnaul district there was the village of Guseletova (also the Dog), located near Lake Guseletova 520 versts from Tomsk and 185 versts from Barnaul [3] . There were 119 courtyards in the village. The population was 335 male souls and 363 female souls. There was a manufactory shop.

In the sixth revision of 1811, 41 residents lived in a new settlement. Subsequently, the village of Guseletova is labeled in revision fairy tales - “she’s a Dog”. The largest number of residents in the settlement was noted in the 1926 census. Then, in the village of Guseletovy, Mamontovsky District, 302 farms were counted, in which 1,565 inhabitants lived.

In the 1919 census in the village, the 1st Guseletovskaya gang worked at the butter factory, the 2nd Guseletov consumer society was organized, windmills stood in 13 farms. Prosperous merchant Savva Fedotov led the trade in his own shop. At the end of 1919, 663 men and 683 women lived in the village. In 1926 there were 302 courtyards in the village, the population was 1565 people. Appeared medical point, the post office. At the beginning of the 20th century there were five streets in the village.

In the late 20s of the 20th century, the first labor commune was organized in the village, in 1930 the collective farms appeared: Voroshilov, “May morning”, “October 13”, “Will of life”, from which 2 state farms were formed. In February 1937, a machine-tractor station (MTS) appeared [4] .

In 1928, it consisted of 302 households, the main population - Russian. The center of the Guseletovsky village council of the Mamontovsky district of the Barnaul district of the Siberian region [5] .

Tourism

Less than 3 km from the village, there is a network of Guseletov lakes, many of which have healing properties that attract many tourists, especially in summer. In Gorky Lake more than 5 million cubic meters. healing mud, which has natural antibacterial properties [16] [17] .

The Goose Museum [18] operates in the medical and health complex “Guseletovskiye Reaches”.
