Geography
The village is located on the Baklanka river .
History
Three peasants who decided to relocate from the village of Ershovoy found good land in 1886, but it turned out that they belong to the residents of the village of Gilevo , then it was decided to settle nearby, near the log. So there was a settlement Gilyov Log. Initially, 3 families settled on the allotted land, then 4 families from the village of Myshlyanka and 16 families from central Russia joined them. The village grew rapidly, the next year 140 families came from the Kursk province , 70 from the Poltava province , 20 from Kharkov and 15 from Ryazan .
Tillage and cattle breeding were carried out in the village, several families planted gardens, planted bees, the inhabitants of Penza conducted pimokatny fishing, had their own carpenters and craftsmen for making wheels. There were 2 artisan tar factories in the village.
A church was built in the village, there was a petty shop and 2 manufacturing shops, and went to Barnaul for other goods [2] .
In 1929, the villagers united in the commune of the Great Communard. In 1933, 6 collective farms worked in the village of Gilev Log, which were then transformed: united and enlarged.
In 1954, young people came to the village in the wake of the rise of virgin and fallow lands. In 1971, in the village on the basis of two collective farms, the state farm "Gilev-Logovskaya" was created [3] .
In 1928 it consisted of 805 households, the main population being Russians. The center of the Gilyov-Logovsky Village Council of the Zavyalovsky District of the Kamensky District of the Siberian Territory [4] .

Infrastructure
In the village there are peasant farms, several trading enterprises, the construction and production company CJSC (NP) Gilev-Logovskoye, MBOU Gilevo-Logovskaya SOSH, a kindergarten, a leisure center MKUK Gilev-Logovskogo KDTS and a library, FAP and postal department [8] .
