Parliamentary elections in Liechtenstein were held on 5 (1st round) and 16 (2nd round) February 1922 [1] . These were the first parliamentary elections after the adoption of the new Constitution in 1921, which slightly changed the electoral law. As a result, the opposition Christian-Social People’s Party won 13 out of 15 seats in parliament [2] .

Election System
Under the new Constitution of the country, three seats of the Landtag , which were filled on the proposal of Prince Liechtenstein , were canceled [3] . The number of seats in parliament was increased: from 7 to 9 for the Upper Liechtenstein district and from 5 to 6 for the Lower Liechtenstein district. The electoral age was reduced from 24 years to 21 years, although women did not have the right to vote [3] .
