Davis Cup 2019

Davis Cup 2019 ( Eng. 2019 Davis Cup ) is the 108th in a row draw of the most prestigious cup among men's national tennis teams. Eighteen national teams will take part in the final tournament from November 18 to 24, 2019. 24 tennis teams will take part in the qualification tournament for getting into the Final.

Content

General Information

Since 2019, there have been changes in the Davis Tennis Cup. The format of the tournament has been changed.

Now, the World Group of 18 national teams will play the Cup for one week at the end of the season. All these teams will be divided into six groups of three teams each. Six group winners and two best teams who finished second in the groups will enter the quarterfinals. The series between the teams at this stage will include two single matches and one doubles match.

Davis Cup Final

It will be held from November 18 to November 24, 2019 in Spain on the clay courts of Madrid.

18 teams will take part, of which:

  • 4 Davis Cup semi-finalists of 2018;
  • 2 national teams that received a wild card;
  • 12 national team winners of the qualification stage, which was held from February 1 to 2.

The winners reached the Davis Cup Final 2019.
