Biography
He studied in Weimar , Berlin and finally in Munich , including with Otto Seitz . Already the first Munich work of Marra, "Agasfer, the eternal Jew", was awarded, in the future gold medals of Munich exhibitions received paintings by Marra “Flagellant” ( 1890 ) and “Summer noon” ( 1892 ).
From 1893 , Marr taught at the Munich Academy of Arts , from 1919 - 1923 . its director. Among his students, in particular, William Oberhardt and Edward Potthast .
