Diabolic Video Productions is an American porn studio based in Chatsworth, California [1] . The company was originally a subsidiary of Anabolic Video . During their partnership, the studios were a pioneer of gonzo-pornography and are considered one of the most successful producers of gonzo [2] .

Content
History
Anabolic and Diabolic were initially located in Venice, California for 10 years [3] . Diabolic was founded as a separate label in 1998 by Gregg Allan [1] [2] and the head of Anabolic Video, Christopher Alexander. Alan previously led the sales department of the two companies for 15 years, starting in 1992 [4] [5] . On January 15, 1998, Diabolic Video released the first video.
In 2001, Anabolic and Diabolic moved their headquarters to Chatsworth. [3] Voyer’s departure for the creation of the Red Light District Video in 2002 ultimately led to mass departure in 2004, when Everhard , Steele, and Mike John moved to Red Light, and John Doe moved to Devil's Film , where directors could own their own films.
In May 2007, Anabolic and Diabolic announced that they were ending their collaboration and would act as separate companies [2] . Diabolic will be managed and owned by Gregg Alan, who resigned as Anabolic Sales Manager [1] [4] [5] . Diabolic Video updated its DVD package with a hologram of the Diabolic logo to establish itself as a separate brand from Anabolic [4] . Now they show new videos shot in high resolution , the best collections and Blu-ray [4] . By 2007, the company had released more than 280 films [6] .
In April 2008, Diabolic released its first Blu-ray film, Top Shelf , starring Amy Reid , Courtney Cumms , Jenna Haze , Sarah Wandella , Brianna Love , Audrey Bitoni and Sean Lenei . He began shooting in high resolution a few years earlier [7] .
Directors
Initially, Anabolic and Diabolic used the directors together, but with the separation, the agreement ended [5] . Sid Knox (Sid Knox) is both a former and current director of Diabolic [7] . In 2007, Melissa Loren became the first woman to direct the studio and directed the release of the series Unnatural Sex [4] . In the same year, Ricky Dee left Diabolic to sign a multi-year exclusive contract with Anabolic [5] . He has directed several Diabolic series, including Incumming , 2 on 1 , Ass For Days, and Hot Sauce. [5]
Distributor Transactions
In June 2006, gamelink.com added the complete Diabolic reverse directory to its on-demand video library [8] . In the same month, he made his content available on a similar service AEBN (Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network) [9] .
In March 2007, SugarVOD began adding a complete Diabolic library to its on-demand video service [10] .
In July 2007, the studio signed an exclusive agreement with Hustler TV on worldwide distribution of the Diabolic digital library using the services Hustler pay per view and “video on demand” [11] .
Check Records
Diabolic was the target of the first ever documentation audit approved by the Law on the Protection of Children's Rights and Obscene Behavior [12] .
In 2006, FBI agents visited the Diabolic office to check the recordings of 23 films and their performers. [12] Sexual content producers are required to keep specific records in accordance with 18 USC §2257. This was the first inspection since the rules requiring registration were enacted in 1988. Investigators did not need a search warrant [13] . Diabolic passed the test [14] .
