Sergio Adolfo Govi ( Italian: Sergio Adolfo Gov i, June 30, 1934 , Ospitaletto , Italy - May 31, 2016 ) - Catholic prelate , second Bishop of Bosango from April 22, 1978 to June 10, 1995. A member of the monastic order of the Capuchins .

Biography
After receiving secondary education in 1952 he entered the Capuchin monastery. On April 2, 1960, he was ordained a priest. During the following year, he served in the parish of Sant Antonio di Salsomaggiore in Venice. In 1962 he was appointed editor of the magazine "Frate Francesco". In 1964 he went on a mission to the Central African Republic [1] . He served as vicar and then as prior in the parish of Batangafo village. In 1973 he was appointed rector of the Capuchin mission [2] .
On June 5, 1975, Pope Paul VI appointed him as an auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Bosango and the titular bishop of Tortibulum. On October 26, 1975, he was ordained a bishop, which was commissioned by Archbishop of Cotonou Bernardin Gantin in co -operation with Bishop of Bosango Leon-Toussaint-Jean-Clement Chambon and titular bishop of Plesty Bruno Foresti.
On April 22, 1978, Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Bosangoa.
June 10, 1995, resigned. He died on May 31, 2016.
