2014 Chinese Football Championship or Ping An Super League of the Chinese Football Association 2019 ( Chinese Ex. 2019 中国 平安 中国 足球 协会 超级 联赛 ) is the 16th season since the founding of the Chinese Super League [1] . The title sponsor of the championship was Ping An Insurance . [2] [3] The season opens on March 1 and ends on November 30. [4] The Shanghai SIPG club, which became the champion in the 2018 draw , defends its champion title. [5]

As before, the practice of inviting the team of legionnaires and players under 23 will be amended. As well as from the beginning of the 2017 season, at least one player no older than 23 years old (born after January 1, 1996) must go out on the court in the starting lineup. However, the total number of legionnaires in the match has ceased to depend on the number of players under 23 years old. The club can register four foreign players, and three legionnaires can take part in the match. On the other hand, at least three players under 23 must take part in the match. In addition, if players under 23 are called up to the national team, the number of players of a given age to participate in a league match may be reduced. [6]

Foreign players
During the season, clubs can register a total of six foreign players, but their number at any given time is limited to four. A maximum of three foreign players may be included in the application for each match. In addition, one player of Chinese origin from Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan (with the exception of goalkeepers) will not be considered a foreigner, provided that as a professional player he is first registered in the football federation of one of these countries.
