History
The sugar factory was established in 1899.
After the end of the civil war, the plant was nationalized and restored; during the industrialization of the 1930s, it was reconstructed.
During the Great Patriotic War in 1941 - 1944, the village was occupied by German troops , during the occupation, a Soviet underground group operated in the sugar factory, headed by V. A. Merkulov [1] .
In 1971, the production capacity of the plant was 1,575 centners of granulated sugar per day. Together with the state farm "Mikhailin" (which provided the plant with sugar beet), the sugar plant was part of the Yuzefo-Nikolaev sugar factory [1] .
In 1976 and 1983 the plant was completed and rebuilt.
In August 1986, a decision was made to improve the plant's wastewater treatment plant [2] .
After 1991
After the proclamation of independence of Ukraine, the plant was taken over by the State Committee for Food Industry of Ukraine. Later, the state enterprise was transformed into a leased enterprise [3] .
In May 1995, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision on privatization of a sugar factory [3] . Later, the leased enterprise was transformed into an open joint-stock company , and on January 31, 2000, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the decision to sell the last 25% of the plant's shares that remained in state ownership [4] .
Then the plant was reorganized into a closed joint stock company , and on March 30, 2010 - into a limited liability company [5] .
