Biography
In 1956, as part of the Novosibirsk team, he became the bronze medalist of the USSR championship among young men and was included in the youth team of the USSR. [1] In the 1956/57 season he played in the championship of the RSFSR for the Novosibirsk clubs "Petrel" and "Wings of the Soviets." As part of the Wings of the Soviets, he became the champion of the RSFSR [2] .
Since 1957, he played in the competitions of masters for the Novosibirsk clubs Dynamo and Siberia in the highest and first leagues of the USSR championship. In the major league he played more than 100 matches and scored 50 goals. In 1962 he became the first captain of the newly created club "Siberia". He completed his playing career in 1966.
In 1982-1984 and 1991-1992 he was a member of the coaching staff of Sibir, and also worked as a trainer in the Sibir ice palace. In addition, he was a hockey referee, judged major league matches.
He died in Novosibirsk on January 28, 2019 at the 82nd year of his life [3] .
