Mariam Mamadashvili ( Georgian მარიამ მამადაშვილი ; born November 16, 2005 in Tbilisi ) is a young Georgian singer, the winner of the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Mzeo” (“The Sun”).

Biography
Mariam was born in Tbilisi. Sings on stage since 4 years. In her native Georgia, she studied at the Bzikebi Studio and studied (in piano) at the Tbilisi State Music School named after Yevgeny Mikeladze. Repeatedly participated in various competitions and television shows, became a laureate. She was also elected to perform the country's anthem at Independence Day celebrations. She played in musicals and performances; in particular, in 2014, she played the role of the princess in the play " Anna and Me " staged by the Tbilisi Atoneli Theater. Since 2015, lives in the United States and studies vocals, dance and acting at the Broadway Method Academy (Connecticut) [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] .
Junior Eurovision 2016
In early October 2016, the young singer won a contest organized by Georgian Public Television to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, due to be held in Valencia, Malta on November 20. The song “Mzeo” (“The Sun”), which Mariam will perform there, she wrote with the composer Georgy Kukhianidze [3] [5] .
Mariam Mamadashvili received 239 points at the Junior Eurovision and won, beating Mary Vardanyan and Anahit Adamyan from Armenia by 7 points [6] [2] .
