Arnul III ( fr. Arnould III de Guînes ; d. 1283 ) - Earl of Guinea since 1245, Châtelain Bourbourg, lord Ardra, Tourcoing and Alo. Son of Baudouin III de Guine and his wife Mago de Fien.

Biography
Inherited father in January 1245. He brought ommazh (omm-lij, homme-lige) to Count Artois Robert I , who since 1238 was the overlord of Gin.
According to the chambers of Bourbourg and some other lords, Arnoul III was a vassal of the Count of Flanders Guy de Dampierre . Engaged in his war with the Count of Holland William II . In the battle of Westkapel ( Zeeland ) on July 4, 1253, they were defeated, Arnul III was captured. To pay the ransom, got into debt.
In February 1283 he sold the county of Guin and the lord of Montoire to the French king Philip III for 3 thousand Parisian livres and a life annuity of one thousand livres of tournai . Soon after, he died.

Wife - Alix de Coucy, the eldest daughter of Angerran III de Coucy . Children:

- Beatrice, the abbess of the monastery of Saint-Colombes de Blandek.
Jean III de Brienne , husband of the granddaughter of Arnul III, Jeanne (daughter of Baudouin), in 1295 obtained from the Paris Parliament the restoration of his wife’s rights to the county of Guin.
