Peter Marcinkowski ( German: Peter Marzinkowski , March 19, 1939 , Lignitz , Germany ) - Catholic prelate , first bishop of Alindao from December 18, 2004 to March 19, 2014. Member of the monastic congregation of the Holy Spirit .

Biography
Born in 1939 in Lignice (today - Legnica , Poland ). He studied philosophy at the Knechtstenden Premonster Monastery in the village of Delovin, North Rhine-Westphalia and theology at the Pontifical University of Gregorian in Rome. In 1961 he joined the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. In 1964, he took eternal monastic vows. July 21, 1966 was ordained a priest in Cologne.
In 1968 he went on a mission to the Central African Republic. He studied the language of sango , served in parishes in Bria (1968-1977), in Bambari (1977-1982). In 1985-1986 he completed graduate studies in theology in Paris, then returned to Germany, where from 1986 to 1992 he was general rector of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit. In 1993, he returned to the Central African Republic and was appointed general vicar of the diocese of Mbaika (1993-2000). Since 2000 - rector of the German community of the Congregation of the Holy Spirit.
On December 18, 2004, Pope Paul VI issued the Bull Quadraginta per annos , which established the Diocese of Alindao, appointing Peter Martsinkowski as its first bishop [1] . On April 3, 2005, he was ordained bishop by Archbishop Bangui Polen Pomodimo , accompanied by Bishop Bangas Juan José Aguirre Muñoz and Bishop Mbaki Gerrino Peren.
March 19, 2014 resigned [2] .
