Enidzha ( Azerb. Yenicə ) is a village in the Enidzhinsky administrative-territorial district of the Agdash region of Azerbaijan .

Etymology
The name of the village means “the newest village” [1] .
History
The village of Beyuk-Yengija in 1913, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Elizavetpolsky province, belonged to the Beyuk-Yengidzhinsky rural society of the Areshsky district [2] .
In 1926, according to the administrative-territorial division of the Azerbaijan SSR, the village belonged to the Lair of the Goychay district.
After the reform of the administrative division and the abolition of the counties in 1929, the Jardam village council was formed in the Agdash district of the Azerbaijan SSR .
According to the administrative division of 1961, the village of Enidzha was part of the Jardam village council (by 1968 it was renamed into Negrahalil) of the Agdash district of the Azerbaijan SSR [3] , and by 1977 it already had its village council [4] .
In 1999, an administrative reform was carried out in Azerbaijan and the Enidzhinsky municipality of Agdash region was established within the Enidzhi administrative-territorial district [5] .
Geography
Enidzha is located on the banks of the Kazykumlakarh channel.
The village is located 14 km from the district center Agdash and 252 km from Baku . The nearest railway station is Laki.
The village is located at an altitude of 19 meters above sea level.

In 1886, 620 people lived in the village, all of them were Azerbaijanis, by religion - Sunni Muslims.
The population is mainly engaged in cotton growing, stock growing, animal husbandry and grain growing.

The average annual temperature in the village is +15 ° C. The village has a steppe climate.
Infrastructure
In Soviet times, a dairy farm was located near the village [8] , while in the village itself there was a high school, a club, a library, a kindergarten, a medical center [7] .
The village now has a post office [11] , a secondary school, a mosque, a library, and a medical center.
