The October Okrug is one of the territorial districts of the city of Lipetsk . It is located in a residential area mostly on the right bank of the Voronezh River, as well as on the left. Population - ↘ 217,552 [1] people (2018).

It is the most populated territorial district of Lipetsk.
On August 15, 1985 a new October administrative district appeared. It included part of the Soviet territory ( Victory Avenue and adjacent streets, new neighborhoods in the southwest of the city, Manezh District, Dikoye , Korovino district) and Left Bank ( Tractor and Zarechye ) districts of the city. In 1994, the administrative-territorial division of Lipetsk was abolished and all inner-city districts were transformed into territorial districts.
It includes microdistricts along Victory Avenue , Korovino , Manege , new microdistricts in the south-west of the city, as well as the Tractor , Zarechye and Podgornoye districts located on the left bank.
Citywide highways - Victory Avenue , 50 years NLMK Street, Vodopyanova Street , 60 years of the USSR Avenue , Katukova Street, Nedelina Street , Krasnozavodskaya Street, Ilyich Street.
The main areas are Tankistov Square, Koltsovaya Square , Zagorsky Square , Market Square and Klimenkov Square.
The boundaries of the district are established by the Resolution of the Head of the Administration of Lipetsk dated February 18, 2005 N 147 [2] . The border of the Oktyabrsky district passes from the October bridge along the axis of Voronezh to Petrovsky bridge (not including it), further along the street. Nedelina (odd numbering of houses) to the intersection with the Kamenniy Log and along the talweg of Kamenny Log to the intersection with the railway line in the area of ul. Moscow. Further on the railway line, not including it, to the street. Minsk. Then, on the street. Minsk, excluding it, with the transition to the highway Khlevnoe-Lipetsk, then along the outer borders of the Lipetsk urban district to the fork of the Lipetsk-Usman highway, along the technical corridor of the power lines, capturing the entire residential area LTZ, then along the border of the industrial zone NLMK and LTZ to the Oktyabrsky bridge, with its inclusion in the territory of the October district.
