Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Central African Republic

The Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Central African Republic ( CAEC ; French Conférence Episcopal Centrafricaine ) is a collegial body of the national church administration of the Roman Catholic Church in the Central African Republic . The Conference of Catholic Bishops of the Central African Republic unites all the bishops and archbishops of the Latin rite living in the country.

The Conference of Catholic Bishops carries out certain pastoral functions aimed at resolving liturgical, disciplinary and other issues arising in the Catholic community of the Central African Republic. The supreme body of the Conference of Catholic Bishops is the general meeting of bishops. Decisions of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of France are approved by the Pope.

It was founded in 1970. He is a member of the Association of Episcopal Conferences of Central Africa and the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences in Africa and Madagascar.
