The Noida Metro ( Hindi नोएडा मेट्रो Nōēḍā Meṭro ) is a high-speed transport system for the cities of Noida and in the state of Uttar Pradesh . Managed and operated by state-owned Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) and Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). The first line of Noida Sector 51, Depot, with 21 stations of 29.7 km in length, was opened on January 25, 2019 . On March 9, 2019, at the Noida Sector 51 station, a connection was made to the Noida Sector 52 station of the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro via a pedestrian bridge with a length of about 200 meters [1] [2] .

Content
History
The Noida and Greater Noida metro construction project was approved by the Uttar Pradesh state government in October 2014. The total project cost amounted to 50.64 billion rupees [3] . The construction of the first line began in May 2015 and was completed in November 2018 [4] .
On January 25, 2019, the grand opening of the Noida Metro took place with the participation of the Chief Minister of the State of Uttar Pradesh Yoga Adityanath . During the first year, the DMRC, operating the Delhi Metro , will be the Noida Metro operator in conjunction with the NMRC [1] .
Line
The metro consists of one line with a length of 29.7 km. The diagrams are indicated by a blue-green color . It is served by the only electric depot built at the terminal station “Depot”. There are 21 stations on the line - 14 in Noida and 7 in Big Noida [5] .
