Left Bank District (Lipetsk)

Left-bank district - one of the territorial districts of the city ​​of Lipetsk . Located on the left bank of the Voronezh River (hence the name).

It includes the following areas: Novolipetsk , the village of Silicate Plant , Peredelitsy , New Life , Kazinka , Dachny , Matyrsky .

On July 5, 1965, the Left Bank region of Lipetsk was formed. Initially, it included Novolipetsk and the LTZ settlement , but then expanded eastward to include villages located in the Gryazinsky district of the Lipetsk region . In 1985, the LTZ village came under the jurisdiction of the newly formed Oktyabrsky district of the city. In 1994, the district division of Lipetsk was liquidated and the territorial Left-Bank District of the city was created.

The main highway of the Left-Bank District is Prospekt Mira , Zoya Kosmodemyanskoy Street ( Gryazinskoye Shosse ), May 9th Street .

The main areas are Metallurgists Square, Franzenyuk Square and Peace Square .

The boundaries of the district are established by the Decree of the Head of Administration of Lipetsk on February 18, 2005 N 147 [2] . The border runs from the Petrovsky Bridge (a bridge within the Left-Bank District) along the axis of the Voronezh River in the North-Eastern direction to the railway bridge over the river, then the border coincides with the borders of the Lipetsk city district to the fork of the Lipetsk-Usman highway, along the technical corridor of the power transmission line along the border NLMK and LTZ industrial zone to the Oktyabrsky bridge and along the axis of the Voronezh river to the Petrovsky bridge.

The Left Bank Committee for Work with the Population (district administration) is located on Mira Ave., 30.
